Stephen Sumney is an artist and production designer based in California. Born and raised a few steps from the Pacific Ocean, Stephen spent his free time as a kid surfing, painting, and drawing. He would escape into books about art history, especially pre and post-war modernism. When he was a senior in high school, Stephen left home. Shortly thereafter, he ventured to Los Angeles for a year before getting into a car and driving east with a friend. Sumney spent his formative years developing as an artist in New York City.

Some of you know him as a friend, a loving father of  two incredible daughters, as a dedicated co-worker or all of the above. Some may also know that he's had a few set-backs recently.
